This piece explores how the repurposed Grand Prix banners can take on other forms of mixed media. This piece is bridging into my Waste to Wonder series using dehydrated food scraps like coffee, banana peel powder, and hibiscus.

From a bird's-eye perspective, black banner rectangles layered with transparent pigments represent the city, while colorful Grand Prix banner pieces sculpturally resemble the track weaving through the city.

Even before this project, I was enamored by how the raceway was woven between city buildings.
