The second piece in the Grand Prix collection, Apex.

There were moments, many moments, during the creation of this piece from the 2024 Detroit Grand Prix banners, where I genuinely questioned my sanity. The solo, rainy unloading was just a hint of the uphill battle. Months of my studio being filled of banners and smelling like vinyl, most too heavy for me to re-move... Making me wonder how I ever moved them alone in the first place. To problem-solving and countless failed attempts pushed me to the edge.

But the stubborn refusal to compromise my artistic vision kept me going. This piece is forged in frustration and ultimately, in triumph.
